Diane is a respected watercolour teacher and offers classes and workshops in Maleny, where she resides with her husband and two boys. Soon, Diane is endeavouring to broaden her horizons by offering tutored painting workshops in Australia and overseas. Diane has had numerous exhibitions and has won many awards including the St George’s Award (champion) at the 2008 Maleny Art Awards. Her prizewinning paintings hang in private collections worldwide. Her work is currently exhibited at Maleny Artworks, Kenilworth Artspace, and Ecliptic Gallery (Melbourne). “Watercolour is such a moving and exciting medium. I feel my role as an artist is to create the mood and poetry through quick minimal strokes of the brush….by only painting the essential simplified form to portray what I want to say….less is more. I am really loving the journey!!” Contact Artist |
