Jan Scullion Multi award winning artist Jan Scullion works from her home studio at Beerwah - centre of the great Sunshine Coast Hinterland art scene. After a lifetime successfully painting in oils in 2003 Jan was captivated by the intense beauty of pastels and she has worked almost exclusively in this medium ever since. Enjoying success in three solo, and a number of joint exhibitions Jan is also a member of the Pastel Society of Australia, COMA(Collaboration of Maleny Artists) and the Maleny Art Group. Attending many workshops and studying art at Armidale University she continues to strive for excellence while finding fresh and interesting ways to present familiar images of life and landscape in her gallery and commissioned paintings. Winning numerous awards for her works including two 1st prizes at the prestigious St George Art Awards Maleny, Jan has many paintings held in collections nationally and internationally.
