Having been a professional artist for 15 years, this move to the country has changed the way I paint and has changed the things I paint. Prior to this, the art I created has come from visual interpretations of words, phrases, metaphors and song lyrics, with inspiration taken from the layering of colourful childhood memories. Whilst not totally discarding my previous creative thoughts, the overwhelming beauty of the country and all my observations, is now reflected in my latest works. I create - Paintings (oil on canvas) Sculpture (small to medium works in bronze) Assemblage (works in paper, framed behind glass) Solo Exhibitions held annually and many Group Exhibitions every year.
